Delivery of damaged aircraft part in Maldives

During the lockdown period in 2020, there was a scenario where in a charter plane’s part was damaged in Maldives (airline name not to be disclosed). Through sKart’s agent network, we were informed that we had to help the grounded aircraft in this situation.

Basis our market goodwill and long-term relation, one of our partners in Maldives agreed to get the aircraft part delivered under his license in the absence of a consignee. In addition, he also delivered it to the location where the aircraft was grounded.

sKart Global Express successfully handled this complex shipment which was sent from Delhi to Male, Maldives. It weighed close to 800 kg and contained items like jacks and tool kit which had to be returned to original destination after the repair work was over. This exercise was successfully carried out as part of AOG repair work.

The entire crew, including pilot and co-pilot expressed their heartfelt gratitude for helping them out in this situation of crisis.

Exhibition Shipment – DG shipment containing batteries delivered to Milan Italy

sKart team dealt with an ATA carnet shipment (a special case) during June 2022. Initially, the shipment was planned through another forwarder / carrier by the shipper (IIT Delhi) for an exhibition scheduled in Milan (Italy). However, at last minute the original carrier declined to handle the shipment that was a DG shipment due to undisclosed reasons.

As a result, team sKart proactively handled the situation at the critical hour. This was a time bound cargo as the prestigious exhibition date could not be shifted. The articles in the cargo were part of a project of IIT Delhi that had to be assembled at the destination for display during the exhibition. Overall volume weight of the cargo was 1650 kg.

sKart delivered the requisite parts safely and well in time. The assembled project won the first prize at the exhibition. We are glad that we could bring customer delight and honour to one of India’s leading educational institutions at an international platform in Milan.

Tailor-made solution for customer (Multimodal Transportation of DG goods)

In October 2020, we received a delivery order from Cape Verde. It was for the movement of a complex shipment of Dangerous Goods from Mumbai to Cape Verde. The entire cargo weighed 900 kg. There were no direct flights from Mumbai to Cape Verde or any other flight options to carry the hazardous cargo directly to Cape Verde.

Team sKart took prompt action and provided a tailor-made solution to the customer. We divided the delivery of the DG goods into 2 steps. Firstly, we moved the shipment from Mumbai to Oporto via air transport. Later on, the shipment was carried from Oporto through ocean to Cape Verde. We earned great feedback from the customer for this movement of DG goods safely.

Multiple Destination Transport in USA and Canada

We received an assignment for a Bollywood movie promotion in the USA and Canada during June 2018.

This requirement was for the promotional tour that consisted of 11 shows. The shipment contained 46 packages of props, costumes and other articles required for the promotional activities. These had to be sent in 9 destinations in USA and 2 destinations in Canada.

The consignment also consisted of DG items, i.e. 300 batteries (mix of Zinc and Lithium Ion batteries). It was moved by our carrier partner from Mumbai to the USA.

Then it was shipped locally within the USA and Canada by road. The entire package was received in good condition by the promoters of the shows which were carried out smoothly. After the conclusion of the shows, the package was returned and handed over to customer.
